Tri Towers or Tri Peaks Solitaire is a very simple solitaire game. A bit of skill is also required to win the game. The goal of Tri Towers Solitaire is to move all the cards into the discard pile.
The layout
The layout is divided into three areas. Each of the three towers or peaks contain 10 cards. A card in the towers is face up, if no other card is placed on top of it. Otherwise the cards are face down. Cards will be turned face up as the game progresses. The stock pile is located at the bottom left, and cards will be played into the game one at a time. Next to the stock pile is the discard pile - all the cards that are eliminated from the game are moved here.
Tri Tower Solitaire rules
The face up cards in the towers are free and playable. Cards that have a rank that is one above or one below the rank of the top card of the discard pile can be discarded, and is then moved to the top of the discard pile. Also, an ace can be discarded on top of a king, and a king can be discarded on top of an ace. Whenever a card in the towers is uncovered, the card is turned face up. The top card of the stock pile can be placed on top of the discard pile at any time. This enables additional cards from the towers to be eliminated. The game is won when all cards are eliminated to the discard pile.
